- Off-road recovery (vehicles and equipment stuck in mud or inaccessible terrain)
3.1 Service Area
We are based in Bemidji, Minnesota, and provide services throughout Minnesota and within a 250-mile radius of the Bemidji area.
3.2 Service Limitations
We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Safety concerns
- Illegal activities
- Equipment or circumstances beyond our capabilities
- Unfavorable weather or environmental conditions
We do not recover aircraft.
3.3 No Guarantee of Recovery Coverage
While we work with most major insurance providers, we cannot guarantee that your insurance will cover the cost of recovery services. You are solely responsible for verifying coverage with your insurance provider before engaging our services.
4. Our Commitment
Ellis Recovery LLC maintains a 100% success rate for recoveries since 2006. We stand behind this track record. If we cannot successfully recover your vehicle or equipment, we will not charge you for the attempted recovery.
5. Payment Terms
5.1 Accepted Payment Methods
We accept payment via:
- Cash
- Credit/debit cards (processed through Square)
- Insurance claims (where applicable)
5.2 Payment Responsibility
You are responsible for all charges incurred for our services. If you are using insurance to cover recovery costs, you remain responsible for any amounts not covered by your insurance policy, including deductibles, co-pays, or denied claims.
5.3 Pricing
Service pricing is determined based on the complexity, equipment required, location, and time needed for each recovery. We will provide an estimate prior to beginning work when possible.
6. Liability and Insurance
6.1 Our Insurance
Ellis Recovery LLC maintains comprehensive insurance coverage for our recovery operations.
6.2 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ellis Recovery LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to our services, including but not limited to:
- Pre-existing damage to vehicles or equipment
- Damage resulting from the condition that necessitated recovery
- Environmental factors or acts of nature
- Delays in service delivery
Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.

You are responsible for accurately describing the recovery situation and providing all relevant information about your vehicle or equipment. Failure to disclose material information may affect our ability to safely perform the recovery.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Ellis Recovery LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the Site without our express written permission.
